(一) Warm-up
1. Greetings
2. Free talk: Today we are having an English class here. Where is this? Yes！It’s the video classroom. It’s on the 5th floor. How do you get here from your own classroom? Go straight, then turn right, go straight again, then turn left...Finally! Here we are.
(二) Presentation and practice
1. Lead-in
(1) T: Is the video classroom far from your classroom?
(2) T: Look at map. Guess: Which country/city is it ? Is it far from here?
Let’s watch a short video about the beautiful city.
2. Watch the video carefully.
(1) T: What can yo see in the video? ( London Eye./ The Thames.)
(2) Show pictures of London Eye and the Thames. Have students know the beautiful attractions.
3. Play the cartoon video, two simple questions are given , students watch, listen and think of them.
