二、学情分析

本课生词较少,语法知识相对简单。主要任务是让学生能够在生活中熟练使用所学语言,学习常见的交通规则、交通信号灯以及其他的交通标志等。学生们都已经熟悉了交通规则:红灯停,绿灯行,黄灯亮了等一等。因此,本课教学起来相对容易。六年级学生已经具备了初步的听、说、读、写能力,因此,本课知识对他们来说,比较简单。

三、教学重难点

1、教学重点:掌握四会单词slow, down, stop,wait,go 及短语 slow down。

2、教学难点:理解句子Slow down and stop a yellow light. Stop and wait at a red light. Go at a green light.的意思,并能在生活中熟练运用。

四、教学过程

Step 1 :Warm-up

1、Greeting

T:Good morning,everyone.

Ss:Good morning,teacher.

T:How are you?

Ss:I’m fine,thank you.And you?

T:I’m fine,too.Thanks.Sit down,please.

2、(播放幻灯片)Let’s chant“How do you go to school?”跟唱一遍。

3、T:Now,I’ll ask some of you to answer my question,OK? Ss:OK.

Q:How do you come to school?

S1:I come to school by bike.

S2:I come to school by bus.

S3:I come to school on foot.

教师总结:Someone comes to school by bike,someone comes to school by bus,someone comes on foot.So,when you come to school,you must pay attenion to what?(全班一起)

Ss:The traffic lights.

T:Yes,great!

(教师幻灯片出示灯,帮助学生区分light和lights)

Step 2: Presentation

1、教师出示红黄绿蓝四种颜色,问:What colours are they?学生回答:red,yellow,blue and green.教师再问:Which colours make the traffic lights?学生答:red,yellow,green.

2、教师拿出自制的单个红、黄、绿灯,说:Yes,a red light,a yellow light and a green light make the traffic lights.But ,do you know what do they mean?(Frist,Let’s listen a song,then,answer this question.)

(教师播放儿歌视频“红绿灯”,学生边听边想,交通信号灯有什么含义。)

3、观看完毕,找学生回答。(播放幻灯片)教师拿出红灯,问:a red light means what?教师根据学生答案,并板书:Stop and wait .然后带读三遍,stop,stop,stop.wait,wait,wait. Stop and wait . Stop and wait. Stop and wait. Stop and wait at the red light.(学生开火车读)。教师在拿出黄灯问:a yellow light means what?教师根据学生答案,并板书:Slow down and stop.然后教读,slow down, slow down, slow down. stop,stop,stop. slow down and stop. slow down and stop. slow down and stop. Slow down and stop at the yellow light.(学生开火车读),绿灯也用如上方法。

4、教师带读完毕,跟录音读,注意模仿录音语音语调。

5、全班一起读。男女生分开读,男生读前半部分,女生读后半部分,然后交换。
