Amy: When are you going?

Chen: I am going at 3 o’clock.

■教材分析: 本课是PEP教材六年级上册Unit 3 Part B的Let’s talk部分。教材的设计体现了“以人为本” 的教育思想，形式多样活泼，很符合该年龄阶段的儿童。教材以话题Weekend Plan为纲，以交际功能和语言结构为主线，逐步引导学生运用英语完成有实际意义的语言任务。体现了交际教学思想，注重学生语言应用能力的培养。在整体构思、内容安排、活动设计和教学方法选用上都紧密联系学生的生活实际、贯彻了语言的交际功能和语言应用的基本原则。在教学内容安排方面能以滚动雪球的形式，分递度渗透引导学生学习。学生已经接触了句型:What are you going to do on the weekend? What are you going to buy?以及When are you going?等，本课将学习Where are you going? 等句型，继续以Weekend Plan为话题，将知识越滚越大。

■ 学生分析：教学对象为六年级学生。他们已经接触了三年英语，有一定的英语基础。在本课时之前学生已经学习了表示一般将来时的时间如:next week, tonight, this afternoon, tomorrow morning, Saturday afternoon等以及句型:What are you going to do on the weekend? What are you going to buy?以及When are you going?等。针对学生求知欲强、乐于表现的特点，教师将激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位，引导学生端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法，培养学生良好的学习习惯，利用同伴学习，小组合作、自主探究等活动,引导他们大胆运用英语完成本课时所设定的教学目标。

■ 设计理念

1、采用形式多样的视听教学活动。例如听大意、听细节，听语音语调、听连读、听音模仿，听句子填空等等，进行多形式的语言趣味输入。

2、学习和采用丰富多样的口语练习方法，促进学生的口语输出。如：“模仿秀”、role play、看图说话，let’s read and talk等很好地锻炼了学生的口语交际能力。

3、利用电教媒体创设真实的教学情景，使学生在真实的语境中感知英语、体会英语语言运用时的真性情，既拓展了学生 学习英语 和使用英语的渠道，同时也极大地提高了学生 学英语 的兴趣。

4、尊重学生的个体差异，设计多种层次目标的练习，以满足不同程度学生的学习需要，让全体学生根据自身学习情况在不同难度的对话中习得语言。练习设计方面，除了全控制性操练，（如提供图片，给对话进行替换练习）还有半控制操练（如let’s read and talk）。在let’s read and talk这一环节中，学生们可以通过阅读激活新旧知识，进一步建构知识体系，通过感知语言、体验情感、实践参与和合作探究等方式完成学习任务和目标。这样中下生学习英语就更自信，优生更优秀，学生的发展空间也更大。

5、时刻注意培养学生的四种英语基本技能，以学生听、说、读、写、练贯穿课堂的始终。如：除了听、说，在读方面要求学生学会阅读句子，能根据上下文选择正确的句子作答，学会阅读图片或图画故事，培养学生的阅读习惯。在写方面要求学生书写工整、语法正确等。

■ 教学目标：

Knowledge aims:

1．Enable the students to learn the four skill sentences by heart: Where are you going this afternoon? I`m going to the bookstore. What are you going to buy? I am going to buy a comic book.

2．Enable the students to understand the dialogue.

3．Help the students to understand the words: fruit stand, pet shop and shoestore.

Ability aims:

1．Enable the students to use “what, where, when”to talk about the weekend plan with friends.

2．Improve the students’ communicating ability in English .

3．Make the students observe things carefully and highlight their ability of using the language creatively.

4．Encourage the students to have the good habits of listening, talking,reading and writing.

Emotion aims:

1．Encourage the students love planing to do things.

2．Encourage the students love English.
