Step1 Warm-up

设计意图:师生一起做热身活动,既活跃课堂气氛,又拉近师生距离,使学生快速进入英语学习状态。
3. Play a game: Sharp eyes.
Read the words as quickly as possible.
教师随机点翻课件中卡片,学生快速准确读出卡片上的词。
设计意图:复习前三单元重点词汇,为后面句型的复习做好铺垫。
Step2 Presentation & Practice
1. Read a story and review the key points of the future tense.
(1)T:Now let’s enjoy a story together. Enjoy reading, enjoy life. 课件出示图片引出故事“A crying boy”。师问:Why is he crying? Can you guess? 引导学生回答 Maybe he… 接着教师利用图片告诉学生:He lost his way. He can’t find his mother. 师提问:If you lost the way, what are you going to do? 引导学生用 I’m going to …句型回答。然后利用故事图片过渡到:The little boy is going to ask the policeman for help. They are going to the police station. 教师小结并进行相关德育渗透。
设计意图:导入部分由“Enjoy reading, enjoy life” 引出本节课主线:绘本教学。接着直奔故事主题,根据绘本图片,及时抛出问题,激发学生预测、思考,并主动用所学重点英语句型表达。
(2)T:At the police station, the boy is still crying. What are the police officers going to do? 利用图片及音乐引导学生回答:The policeman is going to call his mum. The policewoman is going to sing a song to him. 教师出示歌曲:Hush, little boy. 要求学生打开课本听读,跟唱并完成相关练习:In the song, what is Papa going to do? 同时,教师简要讲解歌曲中的重难点。
(3)T:The policeman is calling the little boy’s mother. What are they talking about? Look at the picture and fill in the blanks. 根据图片完成填空练习。
设计意图:在绘本中巧妙地解决教材中的相关问答和填空练习,学生更容易理解、掌握与巩固。
(4)T:Mum is in the police station, too. The boy is smiling now. What are they going to say? Can you guess? 引导学生回答She is going to say…教师小结并请学生跟读模仿句子:Are you Mrs Zhang? Yes, I am. Thank you so much. 强调语音语调。
2. Sum up the sentences with “be going to”.
(1)把绘本中含有一般将来时态的句子加以总结,让学生齐读这些句子,并仔细观察。T: What do you find? 引导学生回答。
(2)利用课件中的示意图总结“be going to”结构的主要用法,并板书,同时在小组内实际操练。
S1: Hi, XXX. Where are you going this weekend?
S2: I’m going to the bookstore.
S1: What are you going to do?
S2: I’m going to buy some books.
S1: How are you going?
S2: I’m going on foot.
设计意图:教师引导学生在感受绘本故事的美妙体验中,归纳提炼出一般将来时中“be going to ”的重要用法,并在小组内巩固操练。这避免了教师机械枯燥地复习一般将来时态的相关语法点,也为学生提供了运用一般将来时态的真实情境,达到了良好的复习效果。
