情感目标:

帮助学生了解中国的传统节日的一些习俗,让学生体会家庭和团聚的含义,培养学生热爱自己的祖国和热爱自己的家的情感。

二、Teaching key points

1. 能够听、说、认读单词和词组:Mid-Autumn Festival, together, get together, mooncake , poem, moon.

2.能够正确读出多音节词。

3.能够使用一般将来时谈论自己的节日计划。

三、Teaching difficult points

1.能够正确地掌握一般将来时的两种动词形式be going to/will+动词原形。

2.能够设计自己的节日计划,完成自己的日记。

四、Teaching procedures

Step1: Warm up

1.Greetings

2. Free talks: Where are you going this weekend?

Who are you going there with ?

What are you going to do?

Step2: Pre-reading

1、T:Do you want to take a trip to Miancheng? Are you going to Miancheng? Miancheng is a small town ,but it’s very beautiful, especially during some traditional festivals, It’s more lively.Festival means holiday(节日).Look at the picture ,can you guess what festival it is?

S: It’s Dragon Boat Festival

T: What do we eat on Dragon Boat Festival?

S: Zongzi.

2、向学生展示几种中国传统节日的图片,让学生猜猜是什么节日。

T:What festival is it? Can you guess?

S:国庆节!

T:You are right! Excellent! It’s National Day. It’s the birthday of the People’s Republic of China. What about this?(展示春节、元宵节图片)

3、看图片,向学生提问在这些传统节日家人们常常做什么?以此来激活相关背景知识和储备词汇。

T: What do you often do with your family on these holidays?

S:We often take a trip and go shopping, set off firecrackers, put up the pictures and couplets, our families often get together and have a big dinner.(呈现课件图片引导学生回答)

4、向学生课间呈现一幅中秋节图片,教学生新的节日 —中秋节Mid-Autumn Festival
