Step 1 Daily report
Ask a student to make a daily report for us, read the new words and answer some questions.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Introduce the topic with the pictures and fashion labels,put the pictures on the blackboard. Then teacher says: boys and girls, today I will be a shopkeeper. This is my clothes shop. I have many clothes in my shop, I would like to welcome you to my shop and have a look at my clothes. You can buy the clothes you like. Believe me. My clothes are all in the latest fashion and they are also cheaper.
2. Let the students choose the clothes they like and talk with them
T: Which one would you like?
S: I’d like this one.
T: It is called blouse. It is a yellow blouse.
3. Help students revise the names of clothing and present the new words.
Step 3 Practice
1. Ask students: “What are you wearing today?” Let the students answer and present Part A. Ask and answer with the students, like this:
T: What is the boy /girl wearing?
S: He/She is wearing…
T: What colour is it/are they?
S:It is/They are pink.
2. Ask students to put the following words in the correct boxes and check it out together like this:
