Step 1 Warming up
Show a photo of mine and introduce my hobby.
T: This is me. I like playing ping pong. Playing ping pong is my hobby. So I often play ping pong on weekends.
Step 2: Presentation.
1、Show some pictures of famous people, and introduce their hobbies: playing basketball/swimming.
Teach :hobby, hobbies. 师指导学生正确读出,并强调hobby 的读音含义
2、Learn the phrase: singing
Show a picture. Explain singing and make a short dialogue.
What’s your hobby? I like singing.
3、Learn the phrase : dancing
出示单词卡片,图文并茂,教师强调dancing的构成,并提问学生。
T: I like dancing .Do you like dancing?
S1:Yes.
4、Learn the phrase: playing football. (播放视频)
T: let’s listen. (All the students listen.)
Ask: What is your hobby?
引导生回答:I like playing football .
教师板书:What is your hobby?
Teach other phases in the same approach .Open your books, listen and repeat on page39.
