Step 2 Pre-reading

1. Let’s chant

Dancing, dancing, dancing, I like singing and dancing.

Reading, reading, reading, I like reading.

What’s his hobby?

He likes reading, doesn’t’t, doesn't, doesn't, he doesn’t’t like my music.

Step 3 In-reading

1.呈现故事中的第一幅图,T: The squirrel’s name is Zac. Can you guess, what is Zac’s hobby? Ss: He likes singing/dancing...

2.呈现第二副图,the monkey is the king of the king of the forest.引导学生思考问题:What did the Monkey king do? 引导学生先预测答案,再观看视频。看完视频后,师生一起校正答案。并领读句子:He threw Zac out of the tree.

3. T: Zac fell off the tree. What happened to Zac? 引导学生回答问题,并领读句子His tail became bushy.

4.呈现4-5幅图,听录音并跟读,强调学生模仿正确的语音语调。

Step 4 Post-reading

1. Match. 课件呈现无文本的图片,先让学生根据图片描述图片的内容,再出示文本,与图片匹配。

2. Watch the video and read after the tape.

3. Read the story.
