Free talk.

T: I’m Miss He. I’m an English teacher. I like English very much. And my mother is teacher, too. My father is a policeman. What about you? What does your mother and father do?

教师先自行介绍, 然后自然的转向询问学生父母的工作，并在恰当的时候追问Do you want to be a.. like your mother / father? What do you want to be? Why?

通过一段小视频，来介绍教师的朋友Jack是一名dubbing speaker.

T: I like this job, because it’s good. What about you? What do you think of the job? 引导学生用形容词回答，并在PPT上展示。

T: So I want to be a dubbing speaker, because it’s good. What about you? But if you don’t like it, you can say “ I don’t want to be a dubbing speaker, because it’s ...” 让学生用关键词表述看法，对后面的语言学习进行铺垫。

T: And we can’t find the job very often, so it’s an unusual job. 教读unusual job.

Step 3 Presentation

Watch the story, then underline the unusual job. 观看故事后，打开书画出工作。

Read the story carefully, then fill in the table.

追问What does Zip want to be? 学生回答 She wants to be a nut cracker. So, different people have different choice.

Choose a title for the story.

朗读故事。

T: This story, I like this part very much, let’s enjoy it again.听一句后问 Who can read it? 点一学生尝试后，评价，并给出the rule of the word stress, 让学生了解重读规则后，再去尝试每一句。

给三分钟，让学生选择自己最喜欢的片段，或整个故事，有感情的朗读。给出评价标准， correctly, fluently, emotionally.

表演故事。

T: Zip wants to be a nut cracker, what about you? Do you want to be a nut cracker? What do you want to be ? Why?

询问两三个学生后，there are three tasks:

( Choose your favourite part of the story, then show us with your partner.

( Act out the whole story with your partner.

( Make a new dialogue with your partner, and show us.

6.T: I think you are good actors and actresses, now let’s enjoy a short story of Bei Bei.

欣赏完后问What do you want to be in the future? What’s your dream job? 并给出Tip: You can choose your job according your hobbies. 询问几个学生后，给三分钟让学生互相讨论。

T: Everyone has a wonderful dream job. If you want it to come true, you should stay healthy, study hard very day, try your best and never give up. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Step 4 Homework

1. Act out the story after class.

2. Talk about your dream job with your parents.
