2.利用课件展示不同的人物的表情,并让学生根据表情猜测心情,用英语表达,如:He is sad. They are happy. She is afraid…。
Step 2: Presentation
1.完成“Let’s try”部分。老师介绍背景,提出问题:Who is talking? What are they talking about?让学生带着问题去听听力,理解对话,核对答案,并再次播放听力,提取关键信息。
2.由“Let’s try”部分情景导入“Let’s talk”。
T:Sarah的一家本打算去动物园,但是出现意外。Let’s find out what happened?
(1)展示“Part A”部分“Let’s learn”中Sarah抱小猫时难过神情的图片,提问:
T: How does she feel?
Ss:She is sad.
T: What’s wrong?
Ss: The cat is ill.
T: The cat is ill. She should see a vet. When you are ill, you should see a doctor.
(2)教师列举多个例子与对话让学生理解should后面加动词原型,如:
I should… He/She/You should…
(3)教师设置情景,如:
T:Tomorrow we will hold a test, please be prepared.
Ss: Oh,no.
T: Don’t be sad.
(4)播放“Let’s talk”录音,并提出问题:What’s wrong? How does Sam feel? What should Sam’s father do? 边听边理解对话意思,核对答案并再次听录音。
Step 3:Consolidation and extension
1.跟读“Let’s talk”部分的录音,学习正确的语音语调,戴上人物头饰表演对话。
2.完成“Act with your friends”部分的任务。教师可请一位学生配合示范,如:
S: I’m angry. T: Don’t be angry. You should take a deep breath.
引导学生边做深呼吸,边说“take a deep breath”,教读,板书。根据图片,模仿示例,尽量用英文提出相应的建议,教师可做适当引导,找每组代表统计建议,并做出评价,综合建议。
Step 4: Homework
将“Let’s talk”部分的内容读给家长听。
