Step 1:Warm up
T: Today we are going to study Unit 1 How tall are you ?PartC Story time. Do you like sing a song?教师播放歌曲《My small cat》,让学生一边拍手一边听音跟唱歌曲。唱歌不仅能活跃课堂气氛,还能复习本单元的知识点,特别是有关形容词比较级的单词和句型,为本课时的教学做准备
Step 2:Pre-reading
教师让学生通过猜谜语引出单词football, 问Do you like playing football? I will show you a football match. Do you want to watch it? Let’s watch the video .
T: What are they doing? Ss: They are playing football.
课件出示球门,问:What's this? 引出goal。Who catches the ball in front of the goal?引出goalkeeper。
教师利用多媒体播放一段足球比赛的精彩片段,增加趣味性,通过教师的一系列问题,引出goal和goalkeeper单词,引出足球相关词汇,教师领读,学生跟读单词。为本课的故事作好铺垫。
T:Today I will tell you a story.This story is about choosing a new goalkeeper.导入故事。
Step 3:While-reading
1.Listen, watch the video and answer the questions.
T: How many animals are there in the story?Who are they?
教师导入新课,课件出示问题,教师播放故事视频,让学生回答问题,教师将有关图片和词卡贴在黑板上。
2.Read after the video and answer the questions.
T: Who needs a new goalkeeper in this story?
Who wants to be the new goalkeeper?
让学生听视频跟读故事,整体把握故事大意。让学生在跟读的过程中,注意语音、语调和语速,并熟悉生词发音。学生回答问题,教师将图片和词卡贴在黑板上。
