Step 1. Warm-up
Hi! Everyone! Today I’m so excited. Because I met an old friend last night. Do you know “ old” (并板书old). And what about you? How do you feel?
Step 2. Preview
Show some animals :
Look here, this is an elephant, he is so pride today. Because he is bigger than the tiger. (以此类推,对比猴子的尾巴和兔子的尾巴并介绍smart; 对比鸭妈妈和鸭宝宝,并出示课题 little duck)(板书little duck和 smart )
Show some pictures :
Now little duck will show you some pictures, let’s share together.
This is a watermelon. It’s getting bigger and bigger.
(以此类推,出示图片铅笔、太阳、学校、兰州,学习新句型Teach the new sentences “ It’s getting……” “It’s becoming……”)
Show the students a shadow of a tree in our school. Teach the new word “shadow”. The students try to find some shadows in our classroom.
