Step 1: Warming up
Watch a video about a fashion show. Then the teacher asks students to say something according to the teachers’ questions.
1) What does the fashion show show us?
2) What kind of clothes do you know?
3) The clothes have different colors. What color do you know?
When the students answer the questions, the teacher writes the words the students say on the blackboard.

Step2: Pre-reading
1. Present the new words
Present the pictures of clothes and present the new words about the types of the clothes, the colors and the materials.

They are popular among young people.

2. Write down the words about the material on the blackboard.
3. Ask students to describe the teacher’s clothes with the word on the black. At the same time, the teacher matches the words on the blackboard according to the description as a conclusion.
4.Teacher: Can I go to the fashion show? Sunshine School is having a fashion show. Shall we go there?
Step 3: While-writing
1. Present a picture of Millie. Teacher: In the show we need a host and some models. Questions:
1)Who is the host of the fashion show?
2)How many students show their clothes in the show?
Do fast reading and finish the questions above.
2. Teacher: What clothes do the models wear? Listen to the tape and finish the exercise B1.
3. Do detail reading. Ask four students to read the text from Paragraph Two to Paragraph Five. and do the exercises on PPT.
