Step 1 Lead in
watch a video about a fashion show. Ask: What’s it about? What do you think of the fashion show?
Step 2 Pre-reading
Go through the title of the passage, then predict: What’s the passage about?

Activity 1 To be a fast reader
A. Read the passage quickly, then try to answer the two questions:
1.How many models are there in the fashion show?
2.Who are they?
Students need to read it quickly and silently. Key sentences can help then get the answers more quickly.
B. Learn the items about clothes. Students stand up and say the items out loudly if they know the items.
Activity 2 To be an able learner
Learn the new words by themselves according to the pronunciations and Chinese meanings. Then check in groups.
Students divide the words into different groups. ( Item colour material)
Use the words we learned to describe the pictures.

Read Para2-5, then finish Part B2.
Check the answers.
