【学情分析】
This is a Grade 7 class. The number of this class is 31. Most of them are children of migrants from countryside, who don’t have a good primary English education background. They don’t have enough vocabulary and grammar knowledge to get used to learning of middle school English. Moreover, they don’t have confidence to speak English in front of other classmates. The rest of the students (about 8 students) are from the local neighborhood. They have learnt English for three years, which help them start their study in middle school easily. Those students are the captains of groups of four to help students who are weak at English.
In this unit, they have got in touch with sentences in present continuous tense in Reading period. They are familiar with the context of school fashion show. They can understand the sentences from the text book. Some of them can repeat the sentences with Chinese translation.
