教学过程:
Step 1. Lead-in
Teacher talks to students about diet and lifestyle freely and ask some questions.
What do you usually have for breakfast?
What sport do you like best?
When do you go to bed every day?
After asking these questions, teacher talks about his/her own diet and lifestyle. Teach some new words: sugar, teeth.
Ask students to play a game: Brainstorming, 30 seconds non-stop talking.
Show students the “Big eater”. Let students know today’s main task: Help “Big eater” be healthy.
Step 2. Presentation
Watch the video and choose the right answer:
What do they eat?
Students watch the video and try to choose.
Students read the article with the video and complete Part B2.
Listen to the article and answer the question:
How often does Kitty have/eat these food?
Students listen to the tape and answer like this: Kitty ... eats/has....
Make the students say these sentences together.
Read Daniel’s article and answer questions.
What does Daniel like doing?
Does he often exercise?
What does he plan to eat?
How often does he plan to go swimming?
Step 3. Practice
Play a game: I can judge
Show students some sentences and ask students to tell whether the statements are true or false, then correct the false one.
Ask students to fill in the blanks and then read it together.
Let students try to retell the article with the notes on the blackboard.
