【学情分析】
对于初一学生来说,很多词汇、语法小学时已有接触,会用简单的英文来表达生活中的常见事物。且健康的生活方式又是他们很熟悉的话题。在教师的指引带领下,再给出词汇、句型的基础上从而进行各种操练。
【教学重难点】
教学重点:通过指导如何快速阅读和仔细阅读,仔细阅读通过思维导图解决课文中关键词、关键短语、从而深入到句子和语篇。
教学难点:从课堂的一开始,老师给出一封美国朋友Tom的信,让学生们找出Tom在信中提到的问题,带着这些问题学习这篇课文,最后让学生利用这节课所学知识给Tom提出建议,巧妙而自然地把所学知识运用到生活和实践中去。
【教学过程】
Step 1: Lead-in
(1) Free talk
If you are hungry, what would you like to eat?
Do you think chocolate is good for your health? And why?
Can you help me put these food into some groups?
(Fast food、snacks、meat、fruits、vegetables and main food)
(2) Read a letter
Read a letter from Tom and guess the meaning of some new words.
(Hungry, seldom, a couch potato, lifestyle, keep fit.)
explain these words in English according to the context.
Step2: Pre-reading
(1) Match work
Match the words on the left with the correct meanings on the right to check if students really
know the meanings of these new words.
(2) Welcome two guests to our class.
Today we have two guests coming to our class. They are form Sunshine Middle School
and they will talk about their diets and lifestyles.
Step3: While-reading
