2. Help Ss revise a listening skill (writing a part of a word to save time)
3.Listen and complete Part A1.
Step3:
Task 1: Listen and write?
1.(Tips: 1. Pay attention to the shapes.2.Write parts of the words.)
Introduce the four famous people involved by listening while teaching some new words.
Task2: Listen and match
Listen and Match each person with the correct event in Part A2.

Task 3: Read、listen and complete
1. Fill in some of the blanks in Part A3.
?Before listening again , students read the passage themselves and complete some of the blanks according to A2.?We aim at guiding students to overcome some listening barriers.
2. Listen to the whole passage again and fill in the rest blanks.
Task 4 Find out the answers.
1. Listen to the dialogue and fill in the blanks.
2. Read the dialogue aloud in different ways.
Task 5 Discuss in groups.
Discuss: “If we are going to have a picnic , what can we do ? What can’t we do ?” What do we need to take ?
Task 6 Make up a new dialogue. (Work in pairs.)
List some aspects as hints for students to make up new dialogues.
