By watching the calendar，learn the two words “festival” and “Halloween” and have a discussion about festivals.
2. Presentation and practice of the Comic
(1) Watch the comic and answer questions.
(2) Learn the expressions of celebrating Halloween.

3. Presentation and practice of the Welcome
(1) Learn two more Western festivals through image and audio.
(2) Start a discussion about Chinese traditional festivals. Encourage students to talk and give instructions when necessary.
