教具准备:磁带、录音机、多媒体。
板书准备:黑板上预先写好相关有难度的单词
五 教学步骤
Step 1. Pre-reading
Look and say:
Greet the teachers from their primary school.
Talk about their moods according to the picture.
Then ask students which festival is coming at the end of this month? (导入到课文)
2 Learn something about Halloween.
Show the flag of USA and show a video about Halloween.
Ask students their feelings when celebrating this festival.
Try to find out how American students feel according to the text.
Step 2. While-reading
Task 1. Read the questions before read the passage and give students some tips
1) Use your eyes. Do not use your mouth.
2) Scanning(浏览) quickly and just find out where the answers are.
Task 2. Watch a video and try to find out what children do on that day?
(Tip: Ask students to guess first )
Task 3: Listen to her letter carefully and try to make a match (搭配).
(Ask Ss to do some activities in each part)
Para 1. Wendy likes Halloween best. (Read)
Para 2. They do some activities. (Look and say)
Para 3. They play “trick or treat”. (Play the game)
Para 4. They have a party (Read)
Step 3. Post-reading:
1. Do you know other western festivals? (让学生了解更多西方节日)
