Introduce another Chinese festival --- the Spring Festival.

1. Work in groups. Discuss and choose one favourite Chinese traditional festival first . Then make a writing plan on the worksheet, the group leader organizes everything.

2. Writing an article:
Write an article about your favourite festival in a group.
Each two students write a paragraph of the article. The group leader puts them together.
3. After writing, ask each group to check their article by themselves first and then change with another group to have a check and give each group a mark according to the assessment table. Invite the leader to read out their article and have a look at their article. (eg. Where do they make a mistake? How does another group correct it?...)

1. Ask Ss to make their own writing plan about their favourite festival.

The groups work together to prepare questions for the student who stands on the stage. This student will answer Ss’ questions one by one about his/her favourite festival.
