教学过程:
Step 1 Self-study (3')
Students read the vowels and consonants on Page 106 by themselves.
Step 2 Presentation ( 8')
1. Present the 26 English letters and let the students read them.
2. Present the five vowel letters and ask one student to read the five letters correctly.
3. Students read the words in the table on Page 15 together.
Step 3 Group work (5')
Let the students try to find out the rule: The sounds of the vowel letters are the same as the sounds of the letters themselves.
Step 5 Practicing (10')
1. Do Part A on Page 15. Ask one of each group to writ e the answers on the blackboard.
2. Read the words of Part B. Let the students read the new words according to the sound of the word in the centre in each group.
3. Read the sentences of Part C together.
Step 6 Game (8')
Give five students five card s with /eI/ /i:/ /a I/ /?u/ /ju:/. Present some words on the screen. The rest students read one word and stand after the student with the correct card.
Step 7 Homework (1')
Read the words and sentences on Page 15 three times.
Write four more words obey the rule of this lesson.
