Explain: drive to school = get to school by car
Show some more pictures and ask the students:
--How do you get to school?
Help them answer:
--I get to school on foot. / I get to school by bus. / I get to school by bike.
Explain to the students the other way of expressing the same idea.
I walk to school. / I take a bus to school. / I ride a bike to school.
--How long does it take you to get to school?
--It takes me half an hour to drive to school.
Explain the sentence pattern: It takes somebody some time to do something.

Get students to read silently and answer the following questions.
