Step One: Pre-writing
Look at the pictures and say out different kinds of activities.
Talk about the reasons.
(Purpose: to activate students’ background information and lead in the topic)
Step Two:While-writing
Read Millie’s happiness chart and find out Millie’s likes and dislikes and their reasons. Then complete the table.
Analysize the writing structure.
Complete the passage using the information in the table.
(Purpose: to learn from the text and analysize the structure of the text. And learn the expressions of likes and dislikes)
Step3: Post- writing
Write a passage about their own likes and dislikes

Re-writing
(Purpose: By imitating, students should be able to practise the expressions and words . At the same times, they can help correct mistakes by peer-editing. The last process re-writing will help them develop good writing habits)
