学情分析:

这是本学期新课学习的最后一个单元最后一个课时,本课通过学生感兴趣的话题:Pets,引导学生认真观察生活,了解动物的习性,并运用所学知识准确描述出来。本单元的前几个课时一直在为Task做铺垫,通过对各种常见动物的描述,准确引导学生如何去写此类型作文。Task通过对cat的各种方面的描写,使一只lovely cat活灵活现的展现在学生面前。并且替学生归纳了各种有用句型,结构,降低作文难度的同时,让学生不再谈“作文”色变。

重点难点:

Write a passage about his /her favourite pet.

Warm-up:
