Ask three pairs to act out the dialogue(Random extraction)
Step 4 Brief introduction : Can you tell something about your favourite pet to your parter?(Using 3-5 sentences according to the pair-work)

Step 6 Read aloud with the three questions:(Get the students to read the three questions and ask if they understand them)

3 How does Amy look after it?
Step 7 Read and learn: 1 Read the article again and try to fill the blanks.(Three groups read the article individually and decide which group do better)
2 Lead the students to say the main idea of each part.(use one word or phrase , give the students some hints about the first part and lead them to say the other parts)
3 Conclusion:The three parts of an article: Beginning , main body and ending
Step 8 DIsscusion : How to write an article about your favourite pet( The students discuss in groups and report their results)
Step 9 Writing : Write a rabbit ( Show a picture of a rabbit and enjoy a children’s song ---Lovely rabbit )
First discuss the four aspects: 1 Appearance 2 Personality 3 lifesyle 4 How to look after it
Then show the four aspects on the screen to the students.
Before writing,show the scale of marks and get the students to read them.
Step 10 Checking Get the students to find the mistakes in four students’ articles and then correct each other’s articles and choose the five-star articles to show among the students
Step 11 Homework 1 Finish the writing and read more articles about pets
2 Revise Task and finish the exercises
Step 12 Ending : Love pets , love life .
