Teaching Procedures:

Ⅰ. Lead-in: students share the information from the unit5 with each other and realize the problem for the Giant Panda.

Ⅱ. suppose a new situation--- Name Wanted: The leader in a nature reserve wants to have a beautiful name for the new-born Panda.If you want to show your name, you should speak out some information about Giant Panda. This activity can encourage students to review something about Giant Panda actively.

Ⅲ.Suppose a new situation--- Helper Wanted: WWF wants to have a helper. If you want to be one of them, you should know something about Asian elephant. This is a group work. One is to ask question, while the other is to answer questions. At last, choose which group is better. This activity can encourage students to take part in practicing spoken English actively. Then fill in the blanks about the Asian elephant together.

Ⅵ.Suppose a new situation--- We all wanted: Students can make everyone know the importance of protecting the animals by making a poster. The posters have two parts. On the one hand, students use the sentence patterns from grammar part to write down something about the ways to protect animals. On the other hand, students write something about an animal lover--Xu Xiu juan. This activity can help students improve their writing skills and review the information from the books at the same time.

Ⅴ. Homework: collect more information about the endangered animals.

Reflection:

这节课把任务教学法和情景教学法相结合,通过把课本内容进行改编,让学生在运用中复习本单元的知识,从而激发学生的学习兴趣。这节课主要有三个活动,让学生通过使用本单元学习的知识,进行新任务的解决。活动设计自然,过渡顺畅,达到了很好的复习效果。最终,让学生意识到保护动物的重要性!

但是,这节课也有很多不足的地方:通过复习课就是要发现学生的会的地方,不会的地方,感觉不是很明显;还有就是对于学生创新思维的培养不够,仅仅局限于了课本知识;

这种课对于我来说,是一种新的尝试,第一次上复习课的公开课。第一次想把所有的知识连贯在一起的情景中,感觉难度很大。这对于我来说,是尝试也是挑战。我想,我在教学上的突破口也就在于一一次的努力尝试,只有这样才能成功!谢谢大家!
