Step 1 Warming-up

Show some pictures of fire and let them discuss what we can use fire for.

Drive away animals, cook meals, keep warm, let off fireworks

Summarize fire is a big step in the process of human evolution.

Step 2 Pre-reading

1.If there is fire, what should we do to protect ourselves

Call 119.The firemen will quickly come to save you.

Rush out of the fire as quickly as you can.

Pour some water over your clothes.

Put a wet towel over your mouth and nose to keep the smoke out.
