Read and match the similar sentences and compare them .

(To help students understand the poem better and teach students to enjoy the beauty of the language in the poem.)

Enjoy the beauty of the rhymes

What else makes the poem so beautiful? Let’s enjoy and find all the rhymes.

Practise reading aloud and beautifully and then retell it with key words under related pictures.

Enjoy the beauty of the structure

Read the poem about my goldfish and tell the rhymes.

Recite according to the form and compare it with the poem

Step four: Extension

1.Show students a poem in Mother Goose's Nursery Rhymes, and enjoy the rhyme and rhythm by reading aloud after the video show.

2. Fill in missing words in another two poems from the book.

3.Try to write your own poem and share with others!

4.Think about the question: What is poetry?

(Extend the learning of poems after class, and encourage students to create simple poems, be a poet in life and enjoy life.)
