五、教学策略
课前让学生自主学习生词、自主复习已学内容,课堂采用任务型教学法和小组合作学习法来激发学生的积极性,提高学生的语言能力,同时培养学生的组织能力和合作能力,让学生自己去学习,真正遵循“先学,后教”的教学原则,达到学以致用的目的。
六、教学步骤
Step1 Showing some pictures about amazing animals
【设计意图:播放一些动物奇特事情的视频来激发学生学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,让学生轻松、快乐地学习英语。导出:大千世界无奇不有,充满了各种各样奇特的事物,点出本单元主题amazing things,过渡到下一环节的学习。】
Step 2 Revision
Do you know any amazing things about animals?
P1: Fish sleep with their eyes open.
Goldfish can only remember things for 3 seconds
P2: There are no bones in the back of elephants’ feet— only fat.
They walk on tiptoe.
P3: A giraffe has only seven bones in its long neck.
P4: Camels live without water for a long time.
P5: A snake eats little or nothing for months in cold winter.
P6: Ants can smell things well.
