This period is taken from the first period of this unit. During the teaching process, students can enjoy some pictures to arouse their interest and lead in the theme first. Then they can catch detailed information by learning new words about outdoor activities. At last, students can try to talk about their outdoor activities by using key sentences.

Step2 Presentation

Present some pictures about different outdoor activities and learn some new words or phrases. Like: go camping, go riding, go cycling, go jogging, go swimming...

Read these sentences together one by one.

Match the pictures with right activities by themselves.

Play a guessing game about these outdoor activities: Who is the quicker speaker?

The purpose is to pay attention to teaching vocabulary in situation.
