Ask the students to take out 21st Century Teens Juniors and have an answer race.
1.Can you tell me how many columns there are in Teens Juniors? What are they?
2.Where can you find these columns?
3. Please look at each column, and tell us what is in each column?
4. What is your favourite column?

Step 3 Function of the titles in the newspaper
Encourage the students to go through all the titles and try to answer the questions below:
Why do they use phrases instead of sentences?
Why do they use simple present tense instead of simple past tense?
Why do they question mark?

Before reading the article, raise the following questions :
