Step2 Pre-reading
1. Brainstorming (prediction)
Ask students to brainstorm something about the story from the title and pictures.
E.g. “Who was in the story? What happened?”
Step3 While-reading
Skim the story and answer the following questions.
Who is the story about?
When did the story happen?
Where did the story happen ?
Why did Alice jump down the rabbit hole?
Scan the story and divide the story into two parts according to place.

Careful reading
1.Look at the picture of rabbit carefully and answer the question “What was special about the rabbit?”

(3)Why did Alice jump down the hole?
3.Read Para.4—Para.5 and fill in the table.
