Step 1 Lead in

Have a free talk about what outdoor activity they would like to try.

What’s your kite made of?

What does your kite look like?

设计目的:图片呈现, 不仅复习了welcome to the unit 的知识,对本节课要学的内容进行了铺垫。用图片呈现并提问问题,一下子就抓住学生的注意力,引起学生的兴趣。

Read Part A1carefully then answer the questions:

What does the first /second/third/fourth kite look like?

设计目的: PartA1是关于不同形状的风筝,因此让学生仔细阅读并寻找上述四个问题的答案,不仅可以使学生的阅读有目的性,还帮助学生检测他们的讨论话题。为下面的听力内容作铺垫,加强理解。

Step 2 Listening
