Individual1.Show pictures of some famous people

2.Explain some new words to help them understand: wood, dynasty, period, century

3.Play the listening material in A2.

1. Look at the pictures in A2 and talk about these people.

2. Get to know new words.

3. Write down the answers and read aloud to check out.

4. Ask any questions they do not understand after listening. To make students know the history of Chinese kites, and encourage them to think more about that by asking and answering questions.
