Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead-in
Show the front cover of the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and ask the students:
What can you get from the name?
Do you know who wrote it?
Do you know the main characters in the story?
Ask students to read the introduction to get the main plots of the story.
Step 2 Comprehension
Scene One: Alice found a rabbit.
Ask the students to read Page 13 and complete the table

Ask the students to describe the looks of the white rabbit.
Thinking: If you are Alice, how will you feel when you see such a rabbit?
Encourage students to describe the actions of Alice by putting the actions in order.
