Step 1 Lead-in
Show some pictures about subjects the students learn and ask the students to answer some questions:

Which subject do you like best? And why?
Do you work hard on your study?

Do you do your best this term?
Are you good at writing articles?
Step 2 Presentation
1. Listen to the tape and help Mr. Wu match the subjects with the information.
2. Check the answers.
3. Read the sentences together in Part A1.
4. Ask the students to have a look at the report card and answer some questions.
e.g. Is Suzy good at Chinese?
W hat does she need to do in Maths?
How is her work in English?
Which subject does she like best? …
Ask the students to help Mr. Wu complete the notes about Suzy in Part A2.
