Step 1: Lead in
Show a picture and ask:
(1) Which season is it?
(2) Which season is before it?
Step 2: Watch and answer
Watch the cartoon and answer the questions:
(1) What’s between the hills? (Less than 3 words)
(2) In the end, does Hobo think they need to go up or go down again? (Less than 6 words)
Step 3: Read and act it out (pair work)
(1) Ask the students to follow the teacher and read out the dialogue;
(2) Ask the students to work in pairs and act it out.

Listen to the dialogue and help finish the “Plan List”.
