Step1:
Warm-up
Enjoy a video and answer some questions about it.
Where is the girl from?
Where is the cute monster from?
Step2:
Pre-writing
Ask Ss to give T some verbs according to this picture
Ask Ss to use these verbs and the phrases to describe the picture orally
Give Ss an example about the picture and ask Ss to pay attention to the past tense.
Step3:
While-writing
After describing the picture, ask some questions
If we see aliens, what should we do? Kill them? Or make friends with them?
If we want to make friends, how should we do?
Ask Ss to give some ideas about how to make friends with aliens.
Then give Ss some ideas and example to help them write Part B.
Summarize how to write a story

Post-writing
Make the story with the two words
Show the story in class.
