T: Today my new friends come to visit me. They also want to see you. Look, they make a video for us.(play the video,three students dress up as ghosts and greet the students)

Then lead into the title of this reading.(present the title on the board)

Step2. Presentation

While-reading

Watching the video

Play the video for the students to watch. After that, ask students to answer some questions: When and where did the story happen? What happened? Who might see a “ghost”?

Then check answers together.

Scanning

Ask students to read the article by themselves.

T: When we are reading, do you know the meanings of some new words. Now I’ll check you.

Finish B1.

T: I divide the article into three parts. Can you help me to find the main idea.

Part1(Line1-7) met the ghost

Part2(Line8-13) searched the ghost

Part3(Line14-16) sent the ghost

3.Careful reading
