1.Use some pictures to presents some phrases
A picture of an apple: an apple
A picture of some sheep: there are
A picture of some happy sheep:we enjoy
A picture of a cake: a big cake

Get the students to read the phrases and help them find out the four ways of linking sounds:
1). We usually link a consonant sound with a vowel sound.
2).When the first words ends in –r or –re and the next word begins with a vowel sounds, we join them together with a /r/ sound between them.
3).When there are two vowels sounds, we join them as if there were a /j/ or /w/ between them.
4).When two consonant sounds of the two words meet, we sometimes do not need to pronounce the first consonant sound.
