Have a free talk with students. Ask and answer the questions like this:
1. Where do you live?
2. How many buildings are there in your neighbourhood?
3. What do you have around your neighbourhood?
4. When you are ill, where do you go?
5. Where can you buy some vegetables?
6. Who’s your neighbour?
7. What does he/she do?
8. Where does he/she work?
9. What do you think of him/her?
10. Do you welcome him/her to your home?
11. Do you always help each other?
According to my own experiences, show some pictures and present new words and teach new words: community、lucky、skill、a computer engineer、check、broken、fix、college students 、help children with their homework、do some shopping、volunteers、problems. And let them know the information about good neighbours. Finally let students practice the new words.
