【教学过程】
Step 1 Lead-in
1. Show the learning aims.
2. Preview display.
1）Ask the students to read the new words.
2）Fill in the blanks. Check the answers.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Teach the new words and important phrases.
2. Remember the new words.
Step 3 Comic strip
1. Play the tape. Ask the students to listen to it and answer some questions:
= 1 ﹨* GB3 ① Who is coming to see Eddie?
= 2 ﹨* GB3 ② Do they have any money? How much?
= 3 ﹨* GB3 ③ Is it enough for a tin of dog food?
= 4 ﹨* GB3 ④ What does Eddie want to do with the money?
2. Read the comic strip after the tape together.
Divide the students into two parts: boys and girls, ask them to read the dialogue in roles.
3.Display
1）Act out the dialogue in pairs. Tell them to use different tones (语气) and add their own actions to make the dialogue more interesting.
2）Two pairs act it out in the front of the classroom.
4.Explain the important language points to the students.

1.Presentation
1）Tell them that a group of exchange students from the UK are coming to visit Sunshine Town. What do they like doing? Look at the pictures and complete what each person is saying.
