T: (Show the words on the screen)The words played, chatted, cleaned, laughed are the past forms of the regular verbs. Many verbs in the simple past tense end in the letters -ed. Do you know how to pronounce this ending letters –ed ?
1. Three ways of pronouncing -ed.
(1) -ed pronounces /t/ after the voiceless consonants.
(2) -ed pronounces /d/ after the voiced consonants and vowels.
(3) -ed pronounces /id/ after the sounds /d/ and /d/.
口诀记忆:清辅/t/, 浊、元/d/,
/t/、/d/ 之后读/id/。
