Step 1?Revision(复习巩固)
1.Review some names of wild animals by playing a game.
2.Ask Students to tell the wild animals’names, check the answers together.
(通过滚动播放野生动物图片和抓图说动物名称等活动与学生互动,增添学习乐趣,复习巩固旧知识并引出新知识。)
Step 2?Lead in(新课导入)
1.Play a video about Kungfu Panda II and then ask“What kind of animal is it?”
2.Tell the students that the panda in the film is very good at Kungfu and it lives happily. But it is very difficult for real pandas to survive in the wild. (观看视频,创设语言情境与学生交流,迅速进入本课主题gaint pandas.)
Step 3 Fast Reading(略读感知)
1.Watch a video about the story of “Xi Wang”.(动画的插入使文章内容一目了然,教学内容更形象直观,也增添了学生的学习兴趣。)
2. Answer the questions:
1) Who is Xi Wang?
2) What’s the meaning of Xi Wang?
3) What do you think the writer wants us to do?
