Step 2 Presentation
1. Show different groups of examples and ask the students to read and compare each group of
words ,discuss them in groups and try to find the rules of forming nouns fromverbs and adjectives, then give more examples.
Verb--- noun, adj.---noun.?的构成
1).?Rule1:一般在verb. adj.后加---ness,?
happy----happiness? clever--- cleverness kind--- kindness
Do some exercises about the suffix -ness
2).Rule 2: 一般在verb. adj.后加---ing,
kill---killing, feel---feeling

3):Rule3: 一般在verb. adj.后加---ion,
