Step 1 Revision and Lead-in
1. Play a short video about wild animals
2. Play a guessing game on wild animals. Show some tips of animals, then ask Ss to guess what animal it is.
3. Show Simon’s favorite animal , after guessing it , then lead the Ss to know more about this kind of animals.
Step 2 Presentation (Do some tasks)
1.Task 1 Describe the looks of bears
Show a picture of a bear, then ask Ss to describe his looks from four
parts: legs, tail, body and paw.
2. Task 2 Talk about the food that bears eat
Show some pictures on the screen and ask Ss to talk about the food that
bears eat
3. Task 3 Talk about the abilities that bears have
Play a video about what bears can do. After watching it , ask Ss to talk
about what bears can do.
4. Task 4 Talk about what qualities bears have
Show some pictures on the Bb, then ask the Ss to talk about what
qualities bears have
5. Task 5 Talk about the danger that bears are in
Show some pictures of bears’ fur and paws, then ask Ss to guess what danger bears are in.
6. Task 6 Finish a report on bears
First, give a report form, ask Ss to fill in by using the information about bears.
Nest, ask them to complete the report.
