Teaching Procedure:
Step1 Lead-in:
1.Watch a video about Zhalong nature reserve
2.A notice from Zhalong nature reserve --- Volunteers Wanted
Tell the students Zhalong nature reserve needs some volunteers to work for the birds. People who pass the challenges can become volunteers.
Step2 Presentation:
Challenge 1 : You must know something about Zhalong
Task 1: Check your memory
Ask and answer four questions about Zhalong to introduce the use of to-infinitives for purpose.
Task 2: Work out the rule
Help the students to find out the rules in Grammar A.
Step3Practice
Practice the use of to-infinitives for purpose
Task 3: Play a game --- why do you work hard?
Ask students to answer the question.
Task 4: Group work 句子接龙 Make as many sentences as you can using to-infinitives for purposes with phrases given.

Challenge 2 : ask tourists to be polite
Task 1: In the reserve
1.As a volunteer in Zhalong , you must remember the four things to do and the four things not to do.
2.Find more verbs in the structure, both in the positive and negatives forms
3.Help students work out the rules, especially the negative ones.

Work in pairs to make a conversation to talk about their trip to Zhalong
