学情分析

T: What’s the poem mainly about?
Ss: Seasons.
T: How many seasons are there in a year?
Ss: Four.
T: What are they?
Ss: Spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Step 2 Presentation
T: Very good! You all did a good job. But what season is it now?
Ss: Winter..
T: What’s the weather like in winter?
Ss: It’s very cold.
T: Yes. Now let’s look at some pictures and talk about the weather. You can use the following sentences. (What’s the weather like in…?/ How is the weather in…/)
Now please look at this picture. What’s the weather like in the pictures?
Ss; It’s warm and windy. It’s rainy.
Present other words about different weather like this.
e.g It’s warm and windy. Sometimes it’s rainy.
It’s hot and sunny.
It’ cool and cloudy.
It’s cold and snowy. Sometime it’s foggy.
