Task 1 To feel the poem
1) Students are able to enjoy the rhyme when they are very young. So I asked them to appreciate the rhymes from some easy songs so that they can put the right sentence in the poem in the right place according to the rhymes. This time each student can use Ipad to help them drag the right sentence to the right place and show their answers on the big screen by get connected.
2) Students get to know the poems by showing them pictures of different seasons. Students need to guess or learn how to talk about the four seasons
Task 2. To read the poem
Lead students to read the poem to the music
Make them to read to their ipad. Let the software to grade them first. After that I will choose four students with high scores to play the parts of winter spring summer and autumn.
Divide the student into four groups and let them read the four parts to the music.
Task 3 To enjoy the beautiful languages of the poem
There are some good words and phrases to make the poem vivid. To top it off , the personification is the most attractive one.
Task 4 Complete a poem
This poem is to test them how well they master today’s course.
Task 5 Write a poem in groups
Since students have already got the basic principle of how to write a poem in their heart , they can write some easy poems.
